Remedial Stone Fusion (hot stone massage)

 

Remedial stone fusion is the art of combining remedial massage techniques with heated (and sometimes alternating with chilled) stones.
 
While warm stones can be placed on specific areas of the body (such as along your spine) for a relaxing and enjoyable experience, Remedial Stone Fusion goes a step further by using the stones with remedial massage techniques.

Heat from the stones penetrates sore, tense muscles and stiff joints, allowing deeper work into layers of muscle without using heavy pressure which can cause pain and damage to surrounding tissues.

The session is generally best recommended as 90 minutes’ duration.
 
Best suited for deep relaxation, for alleviating muscle pain and stiffness. This treatment is an especially enjoyable experience during cooler weather when muscles often tense up against the cold.
